Located in the Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, this boutique-inspired project transformed an old playroom into a multi-purpose dressing room and sanctuary for our client. The aim was to provide the client with a luxury shopping experience in her very own home, where she could entertain, or simply luxuriate in a calm and private space.

The closet space incorporates shoe and purse displays, a hidden pull-out scarf cabinet, and hanging specifically designed for resort and formal wear; while a staging area with a floor-to-ceiling mirror rounds out the boutique shopping experience. A vanity with custom LED lighting and suede-lined drawers includes a champagne bar, emphasizing the balance of functionality and indulgence.

The design of the room was inspired by Chanel – the nude color and black trim of the carpentry was derived from the classic Chanel compact, and the custom Invisible Collection tweed rug emulates the design of Chanel boutiques. A custom Mid-Century style chaise from Adesso Eclectic Imports, and a Royal Stranger vanity chair add comfort and style to the room, while a Ross Gardam Nebulae chandelier doubles as a modern statement piece.
