Silestone Sunlit Days is the first-ever carbon-neutral collection from the quartz surfaces and engineered stone industry. This milestone, following the recent rebranding of Silestone by Cosentino, demonstrates the brand’s commitment to industry-transforming sustainability innovations and leading environmental management.
Created with the new, exclusive HybriQ+ technology by Silestone, its manufacturing process uses 99% reused water, 100% renewable electric energy and a minimum of 20% recycled raw materials in its composition, while significantly reducing the presence of crystalline silica - critical for fabricators. With this composition, the outstanding technical performance and timeless beauty of Silestone remain intact, including stain, acid, shock, and scratch resistance.
To supplement these advancements, Cosentino has committed to offset all carbon dioxide emissions for the lifecycle of the collection through projects with the Voluntary Carbon Market. This initiative is also complemented by a partnership program for the preservation of the seabed.
Sunlit Days embraces a bright color narrative that celebrates nature found in the Mediterranean. The five hues — Faro White, Cincel Grey, Arcilla Red, Cala Blue & Posidonia Green — offer a wide range of applications with the potential to serve not only as countertops but also as backsplashes or wall cladding in high-moisture or high-traffic areas.
