The Belnord

Located within the iconic Belnord building, also known as the fictional Arconia in “Only Murders in the Building,” this apartment was designed by husband and wife duo Britt and Damian Zunino of Studio DB. The couple was looking for a personalized space for themselves and their three teenage children. Studio DB worked with the developer to change the floor plan, making the space more comfortable while adding colors and textures to bring the home to life. The star of the home is the den, complete with a deep green monochromatic color scheme. This space is stylishly sumptuous with a vintage Mario Bellini Sofa by Italian Design Club, reupholstered in a gorgeous green velvet Mark Alexander fabric. The dining room incorporates some of the same green tones found in the rest of the home with chairs by Burke Decor. The room is lit with the Pearl Necklace Chandelier by Ludovic and sconces by Lightmaker Studio. The team incorporated rich colors into each of the children’s bedrooms. The first bedroom has tie-dyed ceilings. The second bedroom features one statement wall behind the headboard with a blown-up photo of skiers inspired by their seasonal trips to Aspen.
