Vallejo Media + Entertainment Room
"Tear Down the Wall!" A dedicated media room remodel was launched with these words in mind. Originally a basement-level collection of smaller rooms, this musician client wanted a space to enjoy watching movies and listening to high-quality music with family and friends while keeping the room open for more informal gatherings. A fan o the band Pink Floyd, the client commissioned artwork from Gerald Scarfe, the artist who designed the album cover for their masterpiece, "The Wall." Kendall Wilkinson's artistic vision enables these pieces to blend harmoniously into the room's design. Lutron L lighting control scenes allow the room's focus to quickly change between the artwork, ambient light for TV, and low-level lighting for watching movies on the projection system. "The client had a vision for the renovation of their lower level and wanted to make it a movie experience for the entire family. As a true audiophile, he wanted the most sophisticated systems to enhance the experience. He was actively involved with all project details and had an incredible eye for design."
