For the decoration of this new construction project, our client was very clear that they like things on the quirkier side with playfully sophisticated patterns and colors throughout.

In the living room, The Rug Company sets an artistic palette underfoot; a gaggle of Zieta metallic balloon-like mirrors anchor walls opposite the water. Dimitry and Co. sofas in Larsen fabric sit opposite Hickory Chairs swivels in Perennials. Profile chairs in Clarence House fabric overlook bronze cocktail tables from Olyvia Stone. In the family room, a Christian Astuguevieille table and Bone Simple light both sport rope detail. A radial Kyle Bunting rug warms the floor, with lamps from Kelly Wearstler and Aero Studios.

In the dining room, custom painted metallic walls are fancy scribbles, accented by bronze lights from Apparatus. The David Hicks-inspired Kyle Bunting rug in his office pulls from the lacquer color in the room, with accents of Holland and Sherry saddle leather window seats.

In her office, a desk from Century and chair from Laurin Copen face the Long Island Sound. The walls are in a white natural from Cowtan and Tout, and the rug is One Kings Lane. Custom pillows in Rose Tarlow peach add a feminine touch.
