The “fantasy forest” concept for this powder room captures the magic and wonder of the grounds, while creating a special place for guests to spend a moment alone. This power room is located on a stunning 14 acre lakefront property, with a mile long driveway from the road to the house. The trip from the road to the house passes through fantasy-like scenes of tall conifer trees and exotic birds.

The leafy wallpaper sets the backdrop for the forest, with birds flying as seen in the artwork and on the vanity mirror frame. The bronze “stick” pulls in various sizes from Rocky Mountain Hardware adds dimension to the Ruhlmann-inspired custom designed vanity with ⅛” gold reveal around each drawer. There is an in-plaster wall washer light to illuminate the back wall and highlight the bird artwork grouping. The sink and faucet, also bronze, are in the shape of a pond, with the wall mounted handles of the faucet resembling the wings of a bird. The ceiling mounted fixture with its agate stones suggests a rocky terrain, and the bow and arrow sconces flanking the mirror add tremendous dimension with their sculptural shape and sense of impending danger for certain wildlife.
