Sonoma Hideaway
This custom home was built with intent - rhythm of scale, balanced natural light, unique functional moments and versatility. Shifts in scale throughout the home create contrast, rhythm, and different experiences depending on mood or time of day. Natural light streaming through the windows and doors on both east and west sides of the home ensure even daylight throughout. Spaces adding layers of lifestyle flexibility, this home was designed to be intentionally versatile for both the quiet moments and lively family gatherings. It is a home filled with “moments” through spatial versatility and custom architectural and design elements. The expansive connections to the outdoor spaces create seamless indoor/outdoor flow from nearly every room. Custom architectural and design details intentionally add a great deal of visual interest to the home. From the four 12-foot tall windows creating deep wood-lined seats overlooking the front gardens windows to the high ceilings with exposed beams in the Great Room - each space was thought of with great care. The variety of scales and experiences makes the house adaptable, livable, and full of character.
