Ink + Tone
This project started as a blank slate, a newly purchased East Wash Park Bungalow with white walls and
blasé furniture. With a combination of influences, including Western mountain style masculine energy and an appreciation for the simplicity of the Japandi aesthetic, we brought in colors, textures and patterns that brought the home back to life.
In this renovated space you are greeted by a simple, yet refined console table, topped with one-of-a-kind artwork and carefully placed accessories. Natural light pours in from the front door and window to highlight the tones and textures in the space.
The living room, features a red brick fireplace that speaks to the historical bungalow architecture, which we flanked with a wall mounted bookshelf for displaying the client's record albums and collections from world travel, and a sculptural floor lamp paired with an oversized blanket ladder.
And finally, the primary bedroom is unrecognizable thanks to a striking mural inspired by Japanese calligraphy, paired with layered bedding, warm tones, and modern photography of the park just a few steps away.
