Ultimate Transition

With this project, we reimagined a traditional home with a fresh, transitional vision—one that honors its classic architectural roots while introducing contemporary sophistication. Achieving cohesion throughout the home was a unique challenge, especially with the inclusion of antiques that are centuries old. By carefully balancing these heirloom pieces with modern selections, the design feels intentional, elevated, and effortlessly harmonious.

The kitchen underwent a thoughtful transformation to complement the updated living room. Existing custom trimwork was refreshed with new paint, paired with a bespoke range hood, and illuminated by Cyan lighting that beautifully enhances the Schonbek chandelier—a focal point we sought to highlight. Caracole furniture brings comfort, clean lines, and a modern sensibility, while still allowing the personality of the antiques to shine. A curated rug from Exquisite Rugs anchors the living space, tying together the traditional fireplace with the newly refined palette and furnishings.

Throughout the home, the balance between old and new continues seamlessly. The result is a cool, classy, transitional aesthetic that elevates the home without compromising its architectural integrity.
