Bennett Leifer Interiors
Bennett Leifer Interiors was commissioned by a bi-coastal entrepreneur to design their first NYC apartment, a three-bedroom downtown penthouse apartment with wrap-around terraces. The design brief was to incorporate the client’s interests in travel and global cultures, combine elegance with comfort and functionality to allow for potential WFH flexibility and most importantly infuse a sense of whimsy and levity into every area of the home.
Lotus and petal forms throughout the Master Bedroom, as inspired by client’s travel photos in initial concept meetings
Color inspiration was drawn from a unified palette as shown in the Living/Dining areas, and dispersed thoughtfully throughout the apartment giving each room a unique and identifiable color reference.

The apartment includes bespoke custom upholstery and furnishings/fabrics/lighting from Christian Liaigre, Tai Ping, Pierre Frey, de Gournay, Atelier Courbet, Dedar, The Future Perfect, WaterWorks, Fornasetti and Hermes
