Ovadia Design Group
Influenced by the 1930s art deco era and contemporary modern-day touches, Ovadia Design tailored a newly rebuilt 3-story brownstone in Brooklyn, New York. Setting the tone for the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom residence, Ovadia approached the interior design and interior architecture as focal points. Ovadia envisioned the art of functional living for the growing family of seven, enhancing their everyday lifestyle. The residence Is fueled by artistic touches with personality, empowering intentional living, while curating inviting multi-use settings. Custom furnishings with soft edges, blended warm hues and cooler tones are infused for comfort and style. In the entry a sweeping staircase, with a custom-made chandelier features crystal glass drops with brass tones cascading from the top floor to the entry level floor. Spanning the width of the residence, the kitchen highlights double islands with contemporary elements. The dining room forms dark tones against sunburst woodwork while a transitional living and dining room feature bronze geometrical metal doorways for an intimate or open flow movement. The den welcomes coffered ceilings, custom millwork, and Kelly Wearstler sconces seamlessly curating a cozy yet elevated space. Throughout the home, integrated materials, from marble, brass, and ceiling moldings are used for a signature art deco elegance.
